Pending material

Pending could be understood as a state of immobility, contemplation but also “the expectation of an event to come”. A few years ago, these wooden boards had narrowly escaped a fire. They had then been put aside and forgotten … carrying in them the seeds of a “potential to become”. Finally these wooden boards became what they should have been : burnt wood.
